Frequently asked questions
Do guests need an account?
No. Each guest gets a personal link — opening it, the site already knows who they are and shows exactly what’s meant for them.
How are you different from the big US platforms?
Real privacy (four visibility levels on everything), native Lithuanian, and no ads or selling of your guests’ data — all stored in the EU. Plus extras they skip: a memories wall (photos + notes), custom RSVP questions, invite-open analytics and per-guest QR invites.
What languages can guests see?
Lithuanian and English are included on the Wedding plan; Premium unlocks all 10 languages. Each guest sees their own language and can switch it at the top.
How do guests RSVP?
One tap to accept or decline, set party size, pick a meal (multiple dishes allowed) and note dietary needs. You can add your own questions and an RSVP deadline.
Can guests share photos and messages?
Yes — a memories wall: notes (Wedding plan) and photos (Premium). You approve everything before it shows. Premium also adds beautiful cover photos and a keepsake PDF.
How do I invite guests?
Each guest gets a personal link; you can generate QR codes (a public one for signage, and per-guest codes on Premium) and let guests add the event to their calendar.
Can I send reminders and thank-yous?
Yes. Email reminders nudge guests who haven’t replied, and after the day you can track and send thank-yous for gifts (email sending must be set up).
Can I see who opened their invite?
On Premium you can see which guests have opened their personal link — so you only follow up with those who haven’t.
Can I match it to our style?
On Premium you can choose themes, upload cover photos and hide the VowBoard bar so the page feels entirely yours.
Is it a subscription? Is payment safe?
No subscription — a one-time fee. Payments are handled securely by Stripe; we never store your card. You can upgrade later paying only the difference.
What happens after the wedding?
Your site stays up for the full plan term from creation: Free 6 months, Wedding 12 months, Premium 18 months — enough to collect photos and send thanks. Then you can export your data.
How do I log in? Is there a password?
There’s no shared password. You get a unique login key, or you can sign in with Google in one click. You can rotate your key any time in Settings.
Can my partner help manage the site?
Yes. In Settings, link your Google accounts — up to 5 co-owners per event, all with equal rights. Each person can unlink only their own account. One Google account can also manage several events (wedding, bachelor party, etc.).
Can I hide or delete everything?
Yes. In Settings you can temporarily hide the public page, or request full deletion — access is removed immediately and all data (including photos) is permanently erased after confirmation. Note the one-time fee is non-refundable.
Can I really not see who claimed which gift?
Correct — by design. You see that a gift is claimed, not by whom. Guests can’t see each other’s claims either. The surprise holds until the day.
What about GDPR?
Data is stored in Google Cloud’s EU region (europe-west1). No tracking cookies, no ad networks. Guest data can be deleted with one click.
